Heritage Urgent & Primary Care - Wake Forest

I went without an appointment for a medical issue on a Monday morning. I was in and out in less than 1 hour. They did make me wait in the waiting room or when I was brought to a room. Staff promptly came in to ask questions and check my vitals. Kelly came in shortly after to ask questions and assess my condition. She ordered an xray which prompted her to suggest a visit to a specialist. Kelly listened to me and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She called in a prescription that ultimately remedied my condition. The following week I went back to see Kelly for a physical. She was thorough and suggested additional physician services. Again, that day I had an appointment and was in and in less than 45 minutes including bloodwork. Kelly is exceptional at what she does. Her bedside manner is exactly what I needed to feel at ease. I recommend Heritahe urgent care yo anyone who has a medical situation or to someone looking for a primary provider. I am very happy to have found a place and staff that put patient needs first.

The PAs that I’ve seen in your office have been so great. I usually see Taylor or Kelly. They are very thorough and always take time to answer any questions that I have. Taylor ran additional labs and found underlying thyroid issues that my previous PCP had missed for years. In the past, I’ve been put off saying that I have premenopausal symptoms. Always friendly staff and clean office.

Beth and her team at Heritage Urgent and Primary care are amazing! A good friend of mine encouraged me to find a provider that would look at the whole picture and knew Beth so I scheduled time with her to meet and she has been absolutely amazing!! You can tell she cares about her patients well being and wants to help them solve the sometimes puzzle your health issues can be. Not only is she a great provider, but she and her staff are very responsive. If you have questions, it is easy to get them on the phone or email them through the portal and they are responsive. If you need a provider who can think outside of the box and listen and have a provider/patient partnership, this is your place! I have already appreciated the care so much from them. I have seen multiple providers there as well when Beth was out or I was making a same day appointment and they have all been 5 star providers. I trust everyone there and that’s a rare gem to find! Don’t think twice if you are looking for a new provider.

This has been my primary care for years. I highly recommend Kelly Tarwick PA-C. I feel she is really caring, friendly, pleasant, and really wants to provide the best care! She has helped me tremendously. She is also very encouraging, actually listens, and hears out my concerns, which is nice to have in a provider. I'm really happy Kelly is my PCP. Taylor Heath, MPAP, PA-C is also a great provider! The practice manager Delanie is just the sweetest and friendly! Delanie has really great follow up skills whenever I requested paperwork or had any questions. The nurses I have met have been very nice! I know the reviews on here are mixed, but maybe try it for yourself and see. Tip: I've always had great success seeing a provider for urgent needs when I've have called them first before showing up. They are also great with referring out to another provider if there is a service they cannot provide.

My 16 year old daughter went there for an urgent care appointment for fever that she had for a week and fatigue and dizziness. She nearly passed out prior to her visit. She is an established patient there as well. Beth Norton saw her. She diagnosed her with allergies and gave her a rx for flonase. However her blood pressure was 138/88. She had already seen a cardiologist for this but my daughter requested another referral for a second opinion. I was in the hospital at the time so my daughter called me on the phone and put me on speaker to speak with Beth myself because she refused to give her a referral or draw labs. Beth’s response was “okay but this needs to be quick because this is an urgent care appointment “. So I asked her to please send the cardiology referral and draw some labs. As a nurse myself I know that certain labs can be off and cause some hypertension. Beth proceeded to tell me that she would not do any of that. She said my daughter was past due on her physical and that she would address those issues then. I then said to her that my daughter was sitting right there right now with these problems that needed to be addressed. She then became even more rude and told me “I am the provider, I have diagnosed and treated her for what she has now and that’s it.” So I told her my daughter will not see her for a physical because she would never return to that office. And I also told her that I was going to write this review as this was complete neglect to ignore a serious issue as the patient sits right there in front of you because it would take too long for her allotted urgent care appointment time. She said “okay, go ahead”. Please see the other horrible reviews for this provider on Google and take note of her responses. She is an awful rude person that should absolutely not be practicing medicine. I will also add that I have been seen by her in the past and she gave me a probiotic and said that would alleviate my health problems. By the way, they did not. **UPDATE** I received a call from the office manager Lainy yesterday who in the past had been helpful to me. She called to tell me that their office “does not operate off of threats of a bad review just because a patient doesn’t get their way”. So she told me that I needed to take the review down within 24 hours or my daughter and I would be discharged as patients at their practice. I explained to her that I was not threatening a bad review but instead I was only notifying Mrs. Norton that I would be leaving the review after the way she spoke to me and refused to take care of my daughter. And I told her that reviews are there to convey a like or dislike for an experience and that I was well within my rights to leave the review. I told her that Beth neglected to take care of my daughter appropriately. She then informed me that Beth has 23 years of experience and that she treated my daughter appropriately. I told her we weren’t ever going back to that office anyhow so I was leaving my review. And I did also note that this office obviously does work off of threats as what she was saying to me was the definition of a threat. My daughter had to be seen at another local urgent care today for her high blood pressure. They drew labs and sent a referral for a cardiologist. He also noted a heart murmur while assessing her. This is appropriate care. And I’m confident that my daughter will get the help she needed the other day that Beth refused to give. I am thankful that this physician took the time to care and that we will soon find out why my daughter has been so sick. **UPDATE** I received our formal discharge letters for myself and my daughter since I did not comply with their demand of removing my review. I hope that this review is helpful for others to not make the same mistake we did by trusting them to take care of us to the best of their ability, medically, professionally, and emotionally.

First I would like to thank Elizabeth Norton she has truly given me my life back! I was first diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy in 2019 and it has progressed since then to the point where it was extremely painful to walk, drive, stand for any period of time or even cook diner. I started seeing Elizabeth in January of this year and she persuaded me to go on peptide injections. I started them in May and noticed a slight difference right away. I have now been on them for almost three months and the difference is incredible. I no longer have the terrible joint pain and can walk without much pain at all. I am also driving again and feel like I’m getting my independence back. It’s awesome!! She has also treated me for many other issues which are also being resolved. If she has to refer you to a specialist it it always done the same day. She is truly a wonderful person and a great doctor and the staff is just as amazing. Sincerely, Mary Ziese
